will allow you to contact eBay's Customer Support department during
business hours. Please note that if you hit the option for
"Safe
Harbor inquiries" that appears on one of the voice menus, you will
receive a message simply telling you that all claim-related matters
need to be submitted via email. As such, you will probably want to
select the general option in order to speak with an actual customer
service representative. Alternately, selecting the Operator option
from the top menu may put you in touch with someone who can transfer

Did
someone take you copyright protected material?
Find
out what county they are from and find their circuit clerk's web site.
Download
the forms for filing a civil lawsuit. Fill that out and send a copy to
your seller along with a note.
You
can put "pro-se" under plaintiff attorney or you can look in the
phone book and pick out the law firm
with
the biggest yellow pages ad and borrow their name. Pro-se means you are
representing yourself,
and
in the US you have that right. A big law firm's name isn't necessary
to win.
You address the thief, in a signature conformation of delivery, that you
are sending a copy of
this lawsuit
against their actions. As a courtesy, give
them 30 days to respond or you will file
the
papers through the court. and if they
do not respond with the answer to your terms
file
the paperwork and represent yourself. People
do it everyday and win their judgments.
Point out the fact that they will have to pay a fee (find
out what it really is) to file their response to your suit.
If
they ignore your lawsuit, you will automatically get a default judgment,
therefore winning the case.
You
can collect by garnishing their wages or putting a lien on their home,
property, etc.
Or if it's a con
artist that hooked you into a contract and didn't pay royalties, you can
get that contract declared
null and
void and have the judge also award you back full rights to your works and
order that the con artist
cease and
desist using your art for profit.
You have to convince them that you will do all this.
It
will probably get a good response from the defendant, and they will want
to settle.
