Caught using art?
Just because the image is online doesn't make it free to use or profit from.

Educate yourself...

Assume all images are copyright protected and you can avoid being in a copyright lawsuit.

Our members often find their work on websites that are not associated with ebay, so below are the steps
you need to take to get your art removed and the web owner on notice with their hosting service.

1. Capture the page (s) that do not that have permission to use your art. (File/ Save Page As / Web Page Complete)

2.  Make several hard copies of the pages as well to keep on file. Your attorney will need these.

3.  In order to find who the host of the website is, you will need to perform a whois search.  http://www.whois.net
There you should see the domain registrar as well as the hosting company for the domain that is infringing upon your copyrights.

4. Below is a sample of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice, use it to report the copyright infringement of your work.
