Caught using art?
Just because the image is online doesn't make it free to use or profit from.

Educate yourself...

Assume all images are copyright protected and you can avoid being in a copyright lawsuit.

The Equine Arts Protection League was formed to serve the Equine Visual Arts Community.
This includes Photographers, Artists, Sculptors, and Craftsmen.
Our group was founded on May 10, 2004

Members of this League will find strength in numbers within a community that bands together

to enforce their copyrights in online venues such as eBay.

Membership to the League is free and by invitation only,
and most new members are referred by a current member for acceptance.
If you are an artisan who has experienced theft of your work online, our league can help you locate
new infringements without spending hours each day searching by yourself.
Our success in locating copyright thieves is that over 100 eyes are looking, and reporting
each find to the group as a whole.  Never before has there been such a group that
is stopping the infringements and education of copyright law to these offenders is an
important task for our group.

Our League has been responsible for ending thousands of our members counterfeit artworks

in auctions on ebay and ending the selling rights for many ebay sellers.
We also have shut down countless websites dealing in forgeries and unlicensed artworks.
Our members have the combined expertise to guide an artisan through the process of

stopping infringements, and many members have successfully won significant
monetary judgments against sellers infringing upon their copyrights.
If you do not have time for membership, then you can expect 90% of all theft
of your work to go unchecked.  We do have many resources available on this
site to assist you with the ones that you do locate, this is another free service that we offer.
